Terms & Conditions
Client Commitment:
Successful therapy relies on the commitment and motivation of both the therapist and the client. The therapy process involves both in-person sessions and personal reflection, including the regular use of provided hypnotherapy recordings and breathing techniques. By agreeing to undergo therapy, clients also commit to actively engaging in the process, completing assigned homework, and listening to recommended materials at designated times. The best results are achieved through a partnership between the client and therapist, acknowledging that outcomes may vary from person to person.
Therapy Sessions & Fees:
Each standard session typically lasts around 50 minutes to one hour, with various fees for each type of session which will need to be enquired before hand. Payment is due at the end of each session, and cash or credit/debit cards are accepted. Advance payment is also an option. Please note that fees may be subject to change, but any adjustments will be mutually agreed upon. It is important to understand that therapeutic outcomes cannot be guaranteed, and fees are payable in consideration of the therapist’s time and expertise, regardless of the outcome.
Appointments:
Clients are expected to honor scheduled appointments. This demonstrates their ongoing commitment to the therapy process. Timely cancellations allow others to utilize the appointment slot. To adhere to the cancellation policy, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice via telephone, text, or email. Failure to cancel within the specified time frame will result in the full session fee being charged. The therapist reserves the right to cancel an appointment in exceptional circumstances, providing as much notice as possible. However, the therapist cannot be held liable for any resulting financial or other consequences arising from such cancellations.
Late Arrival for an Appointment:
If a client is running late, it is essential to inform the therapist as soon as possible. While every effort will be made to accommodate a full session, availability depends on subsequent appointments, and guaranteeing a complete session may not be feasible. In the event that a session needs to be shortened due to late arrival, the full session fee remains payable.
Privacy:
As part of providing care, it is necessary to maintain records. These records are kept securely, both in paper and electronic formats, containing only essential information pertaining to the client’s care. Personal information is safeguarded using reasonable security measures to prevent loss, theft, unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use, or modification. The client’s email address and contact details will never be sold or distributed to third parties.
By becoming a customer, you may be added to the therapist’s mailing list to receive beneficial information. If you wish to unsubscribe from any communications, simply click the clearly highlighted unsubscribe link. Unsolicited commercial email (SPAM) is never sent to clients using their email addresses.
The therapist’s website employs a tool that collects information about the pages visited, which is then shared with search engines to aid in indexing the site. Cookies may also be used.
Confidentiality:
Client confidentiality is of utmost importance. All information recorded about the client is kept confidential and only used for the purpose for which it was provided. Client information is used solely for ongoing care or with explicit permission from the client. There are, however, exceptions to this confidentiality:
- If the client reveals an intention to harm themselves or others.
- If the client discloses child abuse or a child in danger of abuse.
- If compelled by a court order to disclose information.
- If the client reveals involvement in a terrorist organization (which must be reported to the police).
- If the client admits to money laundering from the sale of drugs (which must be reported to the police).
To ensure continued best practice, the therapist receives regular clinical supervision for their work with clients. During supervision, therapy may be reviewed, but any identifying information is removed to maintain client anonymity.
Standards of Behavior:
The therapist is committed to providing respectful therapy and not abusing the client’s trust. Best practices are followed at all times for the mutual benefit of both parties. In return, clients agree not to harm themselves, the therapist, or anyone else, including any property belonging to either party. Clients also agree not to attend sessions under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs, except when prescribed by a doctor. If a client violates these standards by attending sessions under the influence or exhibiting violent or abusive behavior, the therapist reserves the right to cancel the session and refuse further therapy sessions.
